The Shepherd needs the dog
As much as flock and herd...
Loyal, fearless, with prime directive:
To always protect and serve.
Ever vigilant and faithful
In guarding home and kine;
Born to serve the Master...
God's purpose dog's design.
Never a thought for life or limb...
No sacrifice too great;
For service to the Master
Is a dog's desired fate.
Blessed are the meek in spirit,
And the humble ones, as well;
But remember it is the fighting ones
Who face the forces of Hell.
At the front of every battle,
Yes, Armageddon, too,
Will be the Master's servants...
Brave, stalwart, and true.
